I am so excited to announce that we have TRAVEL APPROVAL!!!  Just 18 days after our article 5...and the CCAA offices were closed 7 of those days!  That’s a pretty quick turn around! 

At this point our agency will contact the US Consulate in Guangzhou to secure a consulate appointment (CA).  Once we have a CA they will work backwards to determine our departure date.    Today they gave us two possible departure dates:  November 3rd and November 10th.  After looking at our calendar we decided the 3rd was not a great option for us.  Ugh...kills me to put off traveling a week, but it’s the best for all of us.  So, they have made requests that would put us leaving November 10th or 17th.  We should know our specific dates in the next day or so and at that point we can purchase tickets!  WOW!!!  Still a bit surreal. 

I’ll post our dates as soon as I find out.  In the mean time, please pray for all the details,

1. - pray for our son’s last weeks with his foster family,
   

2. -pray that they would be preparing him for the day we meet,
   

3. -pray that the Lord would prepare his heart for his FOREVER FAMILY,
   

4. -pray that the older two kids would be excited about all the adventures they will have while mom and dad and little girls are away,
   

5. -pray that the little girls would stay healthy and would respond well to the international travel,
   

6. -pray that the Lord would continue preparing out hearts for the transitions that lie ahead,
   

7. -pray that David and I would have patience with each other and would have compassion with the kids as they are sure to be a bit emotional over the next several weeks,
   

8. -pray that we would REST in the LORD, in His timing, in His control, in His love!
